i was supposed to go to National library in the morning to do some research but, as usual, i overslept all the way till noon..
i woke up with a very bad sore throat..
till now, my throat still hurts alot..

tot of going down to SMU earlier to support our SMU sax quartet but i was too busy with my research till i forgot the timing.
by the time i rush down, THEIR PERFORMANCE ENDED!

i still brought my camera along, wanting to record their performance.
oh well, all blame to my sssslllooowwww motion..

anyway, Siam sax quartet concert was quite an "eye-open" kinda performance for me.
i didnt know contemporary music sounded this way.
i only know contemporary dance.. haha!
ya.. i almost fell aslp during that part..
but the tenor hard-to-hard (or is it heart-to-heart) piece really amazed me..
all their techniques are way way way above my standard..
erm, i hope i can learn something during the masterclass..

the last few pieces of the concert (which i call it the normal sax quartet pieces) were impressive.
i really love those songs..
especially the soprano and alto player, they blended so SO SO SO WELL!
even the part on passing of melody to one another..
oh my god.. they sounded so prefect (at least for me).
when can i be like them? erm... long way to go.. haha..
firstly, i need to have a proper alto sax and ligature!!
money money money!!!

after concert we headed towards pizza hut..
i almost wanted to vomit out cos' i was being forced to eat 3 slices of it which was already over my limit!
haix.. tot i could enjoy my night until late night
but everyone seems so busy and so wanting to go home..

nvm.. there's always another time..
WE NEED A PROPER SAX OUTING, MR MELVYN!

oh ya, dad just told me that that dvd recorder cost $500!!!
wth.. act poor only..
this concludes that my dad is just a liar!
my brother agreed with my sayings too. haha!
nvm.. time to LOOK FOR A PART TIME JOB!
